We are pleased to invite you to the 9^th Annual Conference of the Indian Musculo-Skeletal Oncology Society (IMSOS) to be held from 3^rd to 5^th March 2023 at The Hilton, Chennai.

The Cancer Institute (WIA) was established in the year 1954, by the women’s India Association (WIA) Cancer Relief Fund of Madras as a charitable institution, registered under the societies Act of 1860. The Cancer Institute (WIA) was the first cancer centre to be made the regional cancer centre by the Government of India (in 1975). The ethos of the institute is to provide the state of art treatment to all cancer patients irrespective of the social or economic divide.

The Indian musculoskeletal oncology society (IMSOS) was founded in 2014 with the aim of promoting and unifying scientific, evidence based, comprehensive multidisciplinary management of bone and soft tissue tumors, and encourage basic and clinical research, in our country and now has more than 300 life members. The annual conference of the IMSOS is the premier national conference of note in the field of musculoskeletal oncology. The participants will comprise of Orthopaedic Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, and Physiotherapists.

Patients with Musculoskeletal malignancies can be better managed with precise and timely collaboration between Onco-Pathology, Onco-Radiology, Orthopaedic Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Haematology for optimal outcomes with multimodality management.

The conference brings together a network of Musculoskeletal Oncology professionals and representatives of the diagnose industry to educate healthcare practitioner and to advance the value of molecular laboratories in providing high-quality patient care.

IMSOS 2023 we aim to break the barriers between patients and their better outcomes by bridging science and practice and bringing evidence to bedside in our Operating rooms and Clinics.
